Friends of Milford School (FOMS)

The Friends of Milford School (FOMS) is a group of parents who come together to support the school in providing the best for all children. This group was formerly known as the PTA.

FOMS provides a means for parents and the school to build a successful partnership, based on the best interests of our children. By getting involved in the work of your FOMS, parents, teachers and children benefit from the knowledge and insight shared.

Some examples of FOMS activities are:

  • Fundraising

  • Student events

  • Second-hand uniform sales

  • Parent get-togethers

The FOMS meetings are usually held in the school staffroom, on a Wednesday evening starting at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, which are advertised in the schools weekly newsletter.

This year, 2021, all fundraising is going towards a new Year 3 and 4 playground.
