Playgrounds

We have three playgrounds in the school. The Year 1 and 2 playground is situated outside Rooms 10 and 11, by the Otakau Road entrance. The Year 3 and 4 playground is situated at the top of the field nearest to the Dental Clinic. The Year 5 and 6 equipment is nearest to the Shakespeare Road end of the field. All children are expected to play only on the playground appropriate to their year level. All children are allowed to play on the field, although we encourage the younger children to stay at the top of the field near to the classrooms. In the winter terms, children must get changed into spare clothes before playing games on the field as it can become very muddy. The spare clothes do not have to be uniform although children must change back into uniform before the afternoon session of school begins.
